Something I wrote...
I know it's late, boo, but I knew I aint wake U,
U know I'll wait 4 U, take pain 4 U,
Stand in the rain 4 U, I'm a man who's staying true,
Now I'm cold & wet, huddling in a warmer fleece,
Old heads think I'm thugging on the corners & streets,
I'm born 2 speak my words, in the night or day, all clear,
I'll wipe away your tears, stay near & fight your fears,
But I respect your strength & how U don't flinch,
I was set 2 be your prince, so charming,
But I was brining more harm in, fighting 4 a queen,
Last night I had a dream of U, me, & that ocean breeze,
My heartbeat increased like I was approaching police,
Now I'm in a dark street, spending time hoping 4 peace,
Please keep your mind open 2 me, even if I aint of worth,
And I'm a give U the love U deserve,
If U please can forgive a thug who hurts.
I aint the man of your dreams, but I'll plan this scheme,
That'll let me stand w/ a queen, be a man w/ esteem,
In a land of dimes, U a queen, 4 your hand in mine, I fiend,
In the dark seeing an angel, who'll end my heart being painful,
I want a unity of minds, tell U U pretty in rhymes,
Without corny simple lines, love your warm dimple lines,
So I be trying 2 make U smile w/ sweet words,
Even if it take a while cause I can barely speak words,
So I write at night, the street heard my serenade,
But I tear the page cause words don't express my need 4 aide,
And my determination 2 win your heart,
I aint about waiting 2 sin in the dark,
Cause I'm above the sin of flesh, I move w/ finesse,
I'll love my sultaness who I'll try 2 impress,
W/ the street arabesque & my sweet caress,
But I'm a be staying stressed til she saying yes.
I be rapping poetry so U know it's me,
Hoping you'll go w/ me & be my Isis, my queen,
A wife is my dream, my life is mean, night is unseen,
Til I see your smile, the light that beams,
So let's hold hands & slow dance under the starlight all slow,
I wonder how far sight go cause I can see heaven,
And an angel helping, I'll be coping w/ hope & bliss,
My wishes used 2 hurt me, my lips is thirsty,
Sharing kisses like hershey, feeling your hips is curvy,
You aint girly, U a lady that gave me bliss,
From the start, U made me wish I'll win your heart,
So in the day or dark, lay your head on my shoulder,
I'll always hold ya, I said I'll be your souljah,
U give me love I never had, so when the weather's bad,
You my star who gave hope 2 my painful heart,
And I couldn't cope without my angel in the dark.
maybe because it's a love song, it won't get trashed like most of my songs get shitted on... what yall think?
