Illeagalization of all drugs

Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

As we all know drugs disable our ablilities.

It infectes our regiments(who will die if they are stoned on the battle field)

Our worker( our most needed projects get slowed down)

and our govenment(!IF! the president does banack and he gets stoned whos to say he wont declare war on our allies!)

iam sorry i havent defined the term, by drugs i mean anything hard core like banabis trout slapping or banack.

a causual drink or two wont hurt you and chocolate dosent disable your abilities (unless you driving a a transport truck 100km/ph down a road with two torbleron bars in each hand.... from there thats just common sence.

I am just targeting anything that get people stoned so much that they cant think, talk or walk straigh .

iam against banaco aswell but thats not included, i dont think the govenment is about to give up one of there biggest industries.

Here in Holland we have lot of experience on the subject.
The arguments for illegallization were already summed up by Mr Mayor, here are the arguments and questions agianst:

1. Illegallization creates an enormous black market on which the can have no power. Illegalization needs therefore a strong policeforce in all cities.

2. When drugs become illegallized the prices of the durgs will rise. To get the money the jukies will steal more and try to sell these stolen things. This also requires a strong policeforce.

3. If we illegalize drugs do we solve the problem: people can travel to other countries and buy their stuff there. At least in the borderprovinces the illegalization won't work. Our soldiers for instance are mainly conquering other countries. Who checks if they do'n use drugs? Their coomanders? And who checks the commanders?

4. Has the government enough money to finance a large policeforce and does she want do do so or is she likely to use the money for other purposes?

We have to find an answer on these questions before we make a bill or something.

Our people loves wine. and incense? do you think incense makes people happy like that? sure they sell it "officially" as incense, but my civ screen shows a golden bong with a smoke comin out of it as a symbol of "incense". Yeah, incense alright.
