	Where do i put sownloaded maps? Got spare money?

hi im new here and i downloaded 3 maps 5 player world map 6 player world map and one called europa now where do i put them so i can play them? thanks for the help

The maps made by Activision are normal savegames therefore they go into your ..\ctp_data\ctp\save\games\ folder. Create in that folder a subfolder and put the save games into it. Then use the cheat editor to select your civ. (Better would it be to have the maps in scenario file format.) Prbably the Europa map is in savegame format, too.

Yeah this is one way to do it but I rather prfer the way of doing a scenario and put all the settlers on the map, that way you can choose your civ very easily. Another thing that could work in CTP1 as well. Would be to quicksave during the AI's turn relaod the quick save and you should have changed the civ at least this does work in CTP2, and it is not a nice bug if you do it by accident.
