Edit: It looks like the concern that prompted me to start this thread was not valid, so forget it.
I wonder if Vox might be deliberately denying us read recepits on our private messages in an effort to buy time. The fact that such a thing is possible (assuming I understand the mechanism correctly) makes me tempted to propose the following rule in the C3DG forum. Should I do it?
1) It is henceforth illegal to willfully deny the sender a return receipt for any private message (PM) believed likely to be related to the Civ 3 PTW Democracy Game.
2) Should a player mistakenly deny a return receipt for a message that turns out to be related to the game, he is required correct the error by promptly sending a PM to the sender of that message indicating his receipt of the message.
