And so it continues...
I admit they did a pretty good job with this one. Religion is all but gone, and in its place, a slew of government choices(remains to be seen how these choices effect the sliders). They tweaked some of the sliders, and diplomacy seems to have been tweaked as well, as you will no longer see a Royal Marriage option, but a Non-Aggression Pact option while conducting diplomacy with another nation. The Soviet Union has now been incorporated into the game, albeit there's not much in the way of choices(but that should be convered soon enough). Finally, New shields, graphics, a shitload of events, plus all of the above makes me happy as hell.
Keep up the good work, guys! 
P.S. I encourage everyone with EUII to go over there and download the newest version of MDS. Stay around too, suggestions and improvements are more than welcome.

I wasn't so sure of this project either, as it differs greatly from the original setting of the game, but as it moves forward, and the more chance I have to play, I become more and more addicted to it.
I admit, there are some flaws, but that is why it is in BETA stage as of currently. As new events are written, new ideas are submitted, and further betas are released, it will only improve. I personally can't wait until 1.0 is released  then we will be able to truly judge.
