I just read about the noble President George W. Bush making this statement, published in a German article. Is it racist?

If I were black I would find this offensive (even if you ignored the rest of the statement, the word 'blacks' isn't exactly PC).

IMO it's a shame that racist subliterates like this can become President of the most affluent nation in the world.

What do you think?

There aren't many outside of South Wales since South Wales is where the dock jobs were (where they were brought in to work after the war)...I suspect my stepmum is about the only one from the Shropshire border to the Irish Sea...

Now for something completely different. Is there anything funnier in this world than a black Briton trying to act like a gangster? I saw a guy on TV acting like that the other day and I about died laughing. The British accent just destroyed the whole "gangsta" image. He ended up sounding like Tupac's gay little brother...

"Black" isn't a racist term at all. Even the loony left-wingers within NUS (who are prone to calling just about anyone they disagree with a racist, fascist, homophobic bigot) find it perfectly acceptable... hence the "Black Students Campaign".

(Incidentally, according to NUS "black" doesn't actually mean black, and actually applies to anyone that isn't white, anglo-saxon and WASPish. So, if you're Irish, or Jewish, or of Asian descent... you're black. Just so you know)
