	I need help- How to build an army? Got spare money?

I just started playing and can't build armies. Does the city build it like other units? If so how come it doesn't give me this option? There is unit to click in the production box.

You first have to let a unit become elite (winning battles will do this), Every time an elite does win a battle, he has a 1/12 chance(offensive....on defense it's 1/16) of creating a Great Leader.
Now take him back to a city, their you will be given the opportunity to build an army.
Once your army has been succesfull in battle, you will be able to build more small wanders, eventually even one that will let you build army in a city.

Maybe better come back when you get there

First of all, if you're just starting to play a game, you won't be able to build one until you get a Great Leader, which allows you to create your first one. Once you have an Army that's successful in a battle, and get Military Traditon I believe, then you can build the Military Academy. Only that will allow to you to build an Army without a Leader. Once you get it built, the Army will appear in your build list just like a normal unit.
