after trying to get the russian economy in shape i wanted to do have some (indeed very, very small) action.

Insurgent Rebel Forces in Chechnya annihilated. Russian President send more troops in the caucasus region. also the tensions with the newly constituted republic of belarus rising again.

Cambodia Invaded by Chinese Forces

In a bold first move, the new Chairman Mordhiem ordered swift operations against the rouge government of Cambodia. Military units in the vicinity of the capital city, Phnom Penh, were destroyed under heavy airstrikes before the elite People's Voulenteer Guard paradropped into the centre of the city. Reports show that most of the populace are apathetic to the situation, one saying "People are not too concerned over this. Life for them will continue as normal." Chairman Mordhiem had this to say about the matter, "The Cambodian people have been living under suppresion and subjugation for too long. We intend to bring them into the light of the 21st century as partners in a new brotherhood of asians!" Chairman Mordhiem also hinted that the Chinese military was building up for a similar liberation of Yangon, but was careful to state that "No aggresive notions will be made towards Hong Kong, Taiwan or South Korea. We still expect the Hong Kong 1997 hand over date to be confirmed by the UN security council."

Communist Party Introduces Widespread Reform

Chariman Mordhiem today announced a huge shake up in the political doctorine of the Communist Party in China. He announced that capitalism would be introduced in a step-by-step process and, even more groundbreakingly so, that free elections allowing candidates from outside the party to stand. Chairman Mordhiem said "This proves the dedication of the new Communist Party to bringing China into modern times along with the western world. Communism as Lenin envisioned it has failed, the colapse of the USSR proved to the world how it cannot work in today's circumstances. We, as the rest of the world, must adapt to this change."

Violence also erupted in South-East Asia!

Pnom Penh has been captured by chinese forces.
Those of the civilians lucky enough to escape before the city fell are fleeing for their lives into the surrounding countryside. Fires are burning unchecked, looting and acts of violence seem to be common practice.

The United States of Amerca are trying to send aid convoys into the war zone, but they can't do anything without chinese permission.

We need the help of all nations to contain the aggression before the conflict widens and plunges the entire region into Civil War.

The White House was bustling with activity as news hit. The spokesman indicated that US policy condemns such ]...[ "Dirty Harry goes in alone" interventions.]...[

Cambodia was a rouge nation, rouge as in evil, evil as in imperative that it be removed before it attacked the helpless nations surrounding it. China stands by it's decision adn will not budge. If the USA does not care enough about Asia to act as the protector of liberties and defender of other, supposedly lesser nations, then China will.

We do care and are ready to protect the citizens of Cambodia, if you'd just cooperate. Only Chinas hustling seems to be a destabilising factor in the region now. Do not think that you'll go unpunished if you were to repeat such a coup de main in Yangon, which needs to become unalligned or allied, just like Pnom Penh.
So, back down from this imperialistic course! We strongly suggest a maximum period of 6 month of chinese military government in Cambodia before evacuating your troops to the last man.

- President Delores declared that these military actions were forced upon us and there was no imperialistic goal behind the capture, unlike the chinese ransacking of PnomPenh. "We want to coexist peacefully with our neighbour states!"

REUTERS/Prawda - From the remnants of the former Soviet Union a new Federation of States rises! Russian President Boris Yeltsin declared the Commonwealth of Independent States as "existing, growing and peaceful". The newly formed Confederation was founded by Russia, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and the Caucasus Republics of Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Negotiations with the Republic of Ukraine and the Central Asian States of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are scheduled to be finished within the next 2-3 years.

As foreign journalists learned today a massive counter-offensive was started in the Caucasus region. The main efforts of the Russian Army was, is and will be the protection of the new formed Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) against any kind of danger or terror from any side.

During this first steps of this long-lasting military operation troops of the CIS strengthened the garrisons of the former Soviet Republics in the Caucasus. Russian Special Forces also annihilated the remnants of the rebelling terrorists in the outskirts of Groznyy.

The Pentagon awaits the chinese government to respond to the US-formulated demands.
If no chinese resolutions are brought up real soon, the US Government is ready to present its decisions and resolutions to the EU, CIS, India, Arab League and other Allied Nations.
