we have a new way to do the "my threads" feature, try it out(you know, the "my threads" link at the top of the page).
i think it's faster.....

Bug: when I try to access the 'my threads' feature from the My Apolyton section on the homepage (http://apolyton.net), I still get the old 'my threads' rather than the new one...

Can you add links to the pages of every thread? Like on the normal forums.
In big threads clicking on the name sends you to the first page.

The improved feature is great, but I have to agree with Eli's comment. I had to go back to page 22 in the Suomithreadi XXI in order to find the latest posts as there was no direct link on the My Threads page.

Two comments. Well three actually, as the first is

1. Thank-you Markos. I am a heavy user of "my threads."

2. I like the chronological order - ie based on last post. That's what makes 'my threads' so useful. It is a quick way to catch up and/or respond to threads that you have been involved in. My take is, if you want it sorted by forums - go to that forum.

3. But one major suggestion - the closed forums - in this case the Vox Controli forum from the Civ 3 PTW-Demo game - do not appear to show up. The threads in this forum are actually the most active ones I have. Any chance of getting them added. BTW - they were there before the recent mod.

You should make it a special 'search-page' with not Serarch -> Thread Results, but My Threads at the name of it. Otherwise good...

You're right. I meant it as an option, not to replace the chronological order altogether.

What my real issue is that I post in pretty much every thread in the CtP1/2 forums so I check those forums out every time I log on anyway. I only use the My Threads feature to keep track of my posts outside the CtP1/2 forums (this forum, OT, Nation States, Other Games, etc). It would be useful for me to somehow be able to filter out the CtP threads from the My Threads feature as they only clutter the page and make it much harder to access the non-CtP threads (which are far fewer in number)...

True, I noticed this too, with the Staff Room. But I don't really mind because that forum is one of my regular forums anyway, like the CtP forums

I have problems with it.

Three out of five times i tried to open it, Apolyton informed me that i had no right to view the page, and prompted me to register.

I echo the call for having page numbers listed, ala the old My Threads - although this does seem marginally quicker. It's a little hard to tell on the college network though - it's all damn fast.

Finally you added what I had been asking for Mark!

During the last Apolyton Hall of Fame running, I had about 5 threads with the same name running and coudln't figure out which one was where- this will help greatly!

Hehe I thought it looked like a bit of repackaging as well, but I didn't use the old 'my threads' much so I wasn't sure.
