	Poll on Medium Term Goals Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

This is the poll suggested in the GS thread. I think the three choices reflect reasonably well the options open to us, and will help us determine the immediate question - the trade proposal from GS. I've quoted myself and jon from that thread to create the options. One day to vote.


IT ALL COMES DOWN TO WHAT OUR MEDIUM TERM GOALS ARE FOR OUR CONTINENT. THIS IS WHAT WE NEED TO DECIDE!!!!

1. If the goal is to takeover the continent, then no trades, keep stalling on exploration and other talks, and pit our Immortals and spearmen against their chariots.

2. If the goal is peaceful co-existance (and we need to ask ourself if this is possible in either the medium or long run) then yes, by all means, let's trade and trade vigorously. And let's draw a line somewhere across the continent and agree on settling rights.

3. I think we sould let it play out some. Just do stuff that keeps our options open.

Play it out some. I know you guys love the immortals, but they can have some limitations. Conquering the continent could be difficult against dirt cheap war chariots. But if we find we are being short changed by GS then by all means conquer a few cities or all their cities depending on what is feasible.

I think we need to tell GS that our 2 southern-most warrior will pull back....speaking of which, why are they still heading south and south-west?? How long do you think GS will let us get away with this? I say we start pulling them back towards the isthmus NOW.

Sky - Your problem with not being able to vote in polls - is it only limited to our private forum, or is it Apolyton-wide? If it is Apolyton-wide, you might want to PM Markos about it...

It's Apolyton-wide.

I posted stuff in the help forum (or whatever it's called) a long time ago in a galaxy far away . None of the suggestions worked. I've learned to cope.

Sky - is it a matter of logging in and using your password. I have had instances where I have had to do that to vote in polls. They have been rare, but it has occurred, and that has enabled me to vote.

If that is not it - maybe jon could lobby on your behalf.

It may be a problems with cookies or something similar. Maybe your security settings are too high and you cannot send the proper information back and forth. Or just a cookie problem.
