Some homes could as a matter of fact foster Iraqi children during the war. We did that with Serbian kids in 1999.

Of course we could do something better. We could open up our borders for the Iraqis and let hundrends of thousands of immigrants come to us, instead of drowning inside slaveships somewhere in the Mediterranean. But no European state would do that, would they?

These people may be brave, but they're also very stupid - their actions wont have any consequence except to put their lives in jeapordy. And if they're so willing to throw their lives away to prevent a war that they, themselves, cannot prevent, they could do a lot more positive things with their lives instead that would have an effect.

I hope, if there is a war, and those human shields stay in Iraq, that the US will try to avoid hitting them if possible - but if they purposefully were to gather around military facilities or gather around Saddam to protect him, I don't think the US should let their presense stop them from accomplishing their military objectives.

Pakistanis are the nicest IMHO

I went to a pakistani photocopy shop it was a riot.

All tapes with unknown artists, with that linear language on them, far out posters,, and on the wall a picture of vougiouklaki and an archbishop

Very polite people.

So it's all right if innocent Iraqi civilians are killed, but not Usians?

Does that mean their lives are less valuable?

Do you really have to ask that in the context of a war fighting situation?

How do you support that statement given all fo the bad press the regime has recieved as a result of the massacre?

Are they mourned or do conservatives simply use this as a barb when dealing with Communist China. It's not like they have any problem with dealing El Salvador or Guatemala or South Korea or Taiwan or Indonesia while the latter was still a dictatorship.

So you don't have any real support for the assertion other than ideological bias?

Do conservatives mourn the vicitims of the other regimes I mentioned? Do they care? When talking about extending NAFTA to include murderous governments in South America, do conservatives say, "But they killed all those people in the Soccor stadium?" Without even-handedness, one suspects many of those mourning the victims of the Tieneman massacre of shedding crocodile tears.
