	Request for a bridge forum Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

Could we get a contract bridge forum in other games? There are about 8 of us who chat about bridge in other games. Occasionally we have multiple threads. But we also tend to have rather wandering single threads. i would like to disaggregate the discussion more into seperate topics.

I realize that bridge is not a civ game. But it is a game that smart people play...and smart people play civ. Plus it is almost overwhelmingly a computer game now. Plus there is no good bridge forum on other sites. Plus I can drive some traffic to this new forum. (From a link in my profile shown when I play at Pogo or Yahoo.) Plus my username is ApolytonGP and I am expert level on Pogo. No kidding...just ask Rex Little.

If the answer is no...maybe you could let me know how much activity we need to justify a forum.

I know I tease you a lot, but this is a real request, Dan.

If you say no, that is ok. I just want to ask. We will continue to discuss things at "other games".

I doubt you'll get one of these, besides, very few people would use it Couldn't you set up a thread in the OT relating to it, or do you want the postcount?

I am 100% serious about dragging people over from Pogo and building a community. I have over 20 people on my Pogo friends list. I just think we need a labeled forum to have a chance. They are less likley to come to a thread within a civsite forum than a labeled forum.

I'm not spamming, I'm telling you that having 20 more people that want a bridge forum is going to increase the chances of getting one.

You, by yourself, don't stand much of a chance. Which is probably a good thing you ungrateful jerk.

EDIT: If you don't want other people posting in your threads to the moderators, maybe you should PM them your idea instead.

GP, how about you sweeten the pot- offering MarkG and DanQ the ability to ban you if bridge fails after 2 weeks ... then again, you leave so often, that might actually help your work productivity and be good for you

It would be interesting to see how a bridge forum would work
