	Ctp2 Multiplayer Conexion Pppoe Enter the AD-FREE zone

TENGO CONEXION A INTERNET CON PROTOCOLO PPPOE, ADSL 128, ARESCOM NETDL 1000.

SEGÚN EL HELP DEL CTP, CON ESE PROTOCOLO NO ES POSIBLE JUGAR VIA LOS SERVIDORES DE JUEGO.

HE INTENTADO ESTABLECER UNA CONEXION VPN CON MI OPONENTE PARA INTENTAR JUGAR POR TCP/IP, PERO NO NOS HA SIDO POSIBLE, NO CONSEGUIMOS ENTRAR EN EL MISMO LOBBY Y AUNQUE PODEMOS VER EL JUEGO CREADO POR EL OTRO, NO PODEMOS JUGAR.

ALGUNA IDEA ?

pues te recomiendo que instales civ3 ptw mejor, es el juego mas usado, tambien se juega mucho civ2 por aqui todavia

Aqui no parece haber mucha gente experta en Ctp2, pero siempre puedes probar en el foro de Ctp2

he said that he can´t play ctp in multiplayer bcouse of his conection protocole (PPPOE, ADSL 128, ARESCOM NETDL 1000.)

he has been trying to conect via VPN with his oponent to play in TCP/IP, but they cant enter the same lobby. they can see eachother games, but cant join to them

I have connection to Internet with PPPOE protocol.

in help of ctp2, it says that it is not possible to play multiplayer using a game server.

I have established a vpn connection with my opponent (over Internet), to try to play using the multiplayer option tcp/ip.but we have not managed to enter the same lobby I believe that it can be a problem with the ports, so that I cannot send and receive archives by yahoo either to messenger.

"My internet ADSL 128 connection use the PPOE protocol, Arescom NETDL 1000. I read the help file of the CTP and it seems that the game don't work with that protocol and is not posible to play it on game servers.

Has de saber que yo encontré este foro en Agosto del pasado año buscando una solución a ese mismo problema. Intentaba jugar al CTP I y II por internet con mi "nueva" conexion ADSL 256 pppoe, pero... No se puede, lo siento.
Estuve más de 2 meses buscando y preguntando por unos cuantos foros y nadie supo solucionar el problema. En uno de los archivos txt del CTP pone que "en algunas conexiones de acceso rápido/banda ancha pppoe no se puede jugar multiplayer"
Mi problema, exactamente, era que al entrar en multiplayer --> internet nunca encontraba ningún servidor para conectarse. Cuando tenía modem de 56 Ks podía jugar perfectamente pero con mi actual ADSL NO SE PUEDE...

Lo que hice fue empezar con el Civ 3 (de nuevo) y posteriormente con el PTW para poder jugar por internet...

Pero eso podía ser porque tu lista de servidores estuviera obsoleta, ¿no?

Thanks I lurk here from time to time, but my Spanish isn't quite good enough to understand even half of what you guys are saying But a year ago I barely spoke any Spanish at all, so I *am* making progress, and this forum has been a big help Who knows, maybe next year I'll actually start posting here myself - but that depends on how much time I'll have to invest in this language next to my study, work and CtP1/2 activities...
