We are a few, who have tried once. But it seemed like we didn't have the excact same version all of us.

I'll join if you're short, but experience tells me that it is most unwise to play a mod PBEM with many people - just two is good, but 3 or 4 could probably work.

We also all need to agree to either use or not use ModPicker (if some are and some aren't everything will fall apart). I would rather not, because I am quite used to fiddling around with mods like this and can manage, but if others wish to I don't mind...

As for the turn order, it'll probably be NZ -> USA -> Europe -> NZ...

It works better, IMO.

I admit I would have chosen English if you hadn't, and mainly didn't make another choice because I'm not sure of which civs are available in the MedMod, but I don't mind in the least. I would have minded more back when I joined PBEM, but I'm used to playing assorted nations like Indians and Hebrews now.

For the settings - what you suggest is fine. Having AI makes the game management marginally tougher though, because of the way the AI files for MedMod overwrite the defaults (or vice versa) so you can't have your game set up to handle both simultaneously. Of course, this only matters for the player(s) who plays just before an AI player (so that the AI makes it's decisions on their computer).

I have made a simple set of bat-files, that copies the AI-files, so I am willing to play as last player. NoProblem.

I maybe a nimrod, but im not ignorant When I load the game, it loads as normal, then right before actual game play can begin I get the "Your game has ended suddenly. Would you like to contact Activision?" I have tried to reinstall MedMod, and place all the files in the scenario\medmod413 folder in their respective files in CTP folders. What files were you using when you created the game? Large, standard, or orginal ai data? Does anyone have any other suggestions? Would some one like me to foward me turn to see if they have the same or simular problem?

How are you loafing the game?

For mod PBEMs you cannot simply double-click on the save game like you can usually. If you do that the game skips the identifaction of which mod the save used and tries to load it under standard rules (which will crash the game). You should load it as though it were a SP game.

Edit: sorry, you seem to know this already .

Also, check that your MedMod directory has the same name as that of the person who sent the game - mine is called MedPack4, not medmod413.

No it was just the scenario he used to create the game. MedMod came with 3, standard, flat, and large.

No, I think we managed a handful of turns in the last attempt that was linked to earlier.
