	Turn Report 2216-2222 Enter the AD-FREE zone

The main events:

1) Most of the Drone Riots died down, however, those in Tacticus Academy continued, and they destroyed the recycling tanks.

2) We then experienced a Network Overload at TA which wiped out our research, due to the delays caused by the riots.

3) We located and infiltrated the Spartans, who declared war after we refused to give them Cyberethics. They seem to be located in the Monsoon Jungle.

4) We suffered a number of mindworm attack, which cost us a Gatling infantry squad near TA, and a laser foil in eastern sea. We were also forced to arm two crawlers in order to hold off mindowrm attack from the sea.

The chatlog will follow shortly.

EDIT: at least, it will if Hercules is still around to post it.

Spent 90 ECs on each one to give them Synthametal armour and Hypnotic Trance. Turned one of the worms into charcoal, and the other one is staying put for now.

Ah crap, I though I had left orders for newly constructed supply crawlers, but I guess I only left them for new formers. Though that’s not the issue right now.

This is the second turnchat in a row that my orders to construct a thermal borehole have been ignored. Why exactly is that???

I think one thing this really proves is that we need Empath Rovers badly. They would have dealt with a worm invasion as happened in this session without breaking a sweat.

Drogue stated, and I saw no reason to doubt him, that according to Maniac's 'Big Huge Taraforming Poll', all boreholes had to be polled in advance.

Yes. The war between the Gaians and Believers seems to be over, but the war with the Spartans isn't. I'm beginning to suspect that the Believers are located on the Ilse of Deianira, rather than on the actual continent. This would seem to be born out by the fact that their only known land base on the continent is a captured Gaian one, but they have at least on e sea base.

More than that, I'd expect - they have to go down around the Cape of Storms and then up again, and dodge Spartans the whole time. Probably best to send them in from a different direction.
