Why does Manchu Infantry appears in the Modern age?Manchu's rule in China has ended in 1911. In www.microsoft.com/games/riseofnations/ages.asp they stated that Modern Age revolves around 1936 AD - 1968 AD.
Historical inaccuracy like that isnt good as Manchu Infantry is non existent in Modern age.
Brian Reynold, can you rename the Manchu Infantry to "Chinese Red Army" instead please!Chinese Red Army is worth it to become a special unit because they have fought the Japanese in World War II and Americans in Korean War and have made an extraordinary "Long March" .
There is some inaccuracy about the T-80 tanks and M1 Abrams tanks too. How can the speed of T-80 tank be faster than M1 Abrams tank?T-80 tanks speed is 42 while M1 Abrams is 40.T-80 has only 800 horsepower of engine while M1 Abrams has 1500 horsepower!I think T-80 tank advantage over M1 abrams is cheaper not more powerful as it is obvious M1 Abrams tank is the most powerful in the world(alongside with Leopard 2)
This is where I get the information from

I do agree with you about the chinese red army. But I feel that the T-80 is just fine being better than the abrams. It would be too unnalanced if the Abrams was that much better than the t-80.
One idea of mine is to make the t-80 and t-34 tanks some other color than yellow. It's not like they were ever yellow. What would be the point, Russia was never in the desert, (except for Kazakstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Aremenia, Georgia, Azerbijan, and other small countries) The majority of Russia was in the Northern Steppes. This would not need desert camoflouged tanks and infantry.
Maybe, in the expansion pack, the Russians will have a dark green, light green, or gray tank and infantry color, not yellow.

T-80 tanks indeed should have an advantage over M1 Abrams, but I dont think the advantage should be in speed, why not in hit points or attack instead?

I think the T34 is fine....its also depends on which variant they are modelling but it looks like what I've usually seen
i agree though that the T34 and T80 should have thje same color, so that it would be easier to identify at a glance that you are facing Russian tanks..
As for the People Lib army for China, even though by literal translation it is also Red Guards Infantry. It would be confusing to have the same name as the Russian unit. I guess they can just called it "People Liberation Army Infantry" but that sounds too verbose.
