	HELP with FONT error! Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

Hi all

I just want to first point out that my problem is not the same as Travathian's.

I got myself a copy of PTW over the weekend-thrilled. However, right after installation I double clicked on the PTW icon the screen displayed

"FONT ERROR
ERROR LOADING FONT (ERROR CODE 13)!"

Can anyone give me some advice as to what I should do? Thanks

BTW, this did not happen with the original CIV3 that I have been playing for the past couple of months. I am running WIN 98SE with a GeForce 2 Ultra card.

Don't really know, but there is a patch out for the game.
Check at www.firaxis.com for the download and patches.

1.14f version for PTW

1.29 for Civ III.

I had the same error on one of my computers also. Restarting solved it.

Thanks for the helps you guys gave. I have already installed both updates but still had the same problem. I am going to reinstall everything see if that will solve the problem. Thanks again.

I tried uninstalling both civ3 and PTW and reinstalling them both with their patches. Still have the same problem. I am stuck. HELP.....

I used to have the font error 13 problem, but now it has changed to font error 28. I did some of the stuff in the other post such as take the lsans and lucidia sans fonts out of the font folder, and also to put the civ III font file (from the civ III directory) in the folder aftwerwords. We all could really use some help on this one. Please reference the thread FIXED!!!! for more info on what I and others have done...maybe you can explaon why what I did fixed something.
