Hopefully we'll be a little faster this time

Anyway, I think we should go for people who actually spend a lot of time here, who have some DG experience and who have some knowledge of CtP and it's community.

Based on the current CivGroup members, that would narrow the options down to Frozzy, Martin Gühmann and yours truly (although Martin's experience with the MP community is AFAIK limited).

It's imperative that we decide fast, there are already a bunch of threads in need of moderation, and this will only get worse over the next few days and weeks...

The problem is that we won't have any mod unless we make it democratic. We'll have a mod by Thursday at the latest (Auckland, Wellington time, AFAIK its the same for Europe)

Yup, I agree. You will need to keep this nomination thread open for at least 24 hours and then leave 2 days for the vote. This is too long IMHO but there's no faster way of doing it properly

Since you seem to be the most popular choice so far, I would rather have Markos give you mod-powers now (which can always be reversed if someone else wins the poll after all) but I'm guessing Markos won't agree
