Playing my most recent game (not as Spain, i know, shame on me)... i just noticed that in the modern age, Issabella has a portrait of Middle Ages Joan of Arc in the back ground.

we must develop an RP reason for this.

This was discussed at CFC a bit. Also, on the background of Montezuma's Modern Ages picture there is a dart-board with a picture of some conquistador dude on it.

As for this, we can say that Joan is Isabella's role model or something. I dunno.

I pointed this out when the original pictures were first released. My opinion on this...it's a Catholic Holy Image...not an icon...but an image. You know, one of those more mushy images from the '40s. It's a Catholic saint, and it's Isabella, the Catholic queen, thus we can suppose we have a queen who has a devotion to such saints...

Makes sense to me, anyway.
