I second this motion, especially since NDE has placed their city in direct impedence to our proposed placement of a third city.

Well...as things are. If we don't do as Calc II suggests, then Gow will most certainly take this city location. Realize that this is not going to be a peaceful game. GoW will act in their own best interests and will not overly concern themselves with diplomatic issues. They have a huge industrial advantage over us at the moment. No doubt they will have a granary and a second settler completed long before us. Take a close look at the map.
Second, the only way to deal with NDE is to move towards irradication.
We will have to fight our war with NDE with only 3 cities.
Move our second to the west, closer to the river.
Build a third where Calc suggests, and then mobilize for war.
After we take out NDE's second city, we should mobilize to defend the terretory until we build another settler, who can build on the hill as originally planned in the military zone.
If we do this, and proceed with a balanced plan of military and peaceful production, then we can assure our people's survival for quite some time.
I am not saying that we should push to anihilate NDE right now, but their second city can not be allowed to exist.

I agree also. Lets get a city where we can get some settlers pumped out, while regio equorum focuses on military and Invictus in a combo of settlers/military.

I only hope we have the time you people believe we have. May your peaceful optimism win the day.
