The Republic of Floydtopia is a tiny, economically powerful nation, renowned for its absence of drug laws. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 5 million live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

There is no government in the normal sense the word; however, a small group of community-minded, pro-business individuals is mainly concerned with Commerce, although Law & Order and Religion & Spirituality are secondary priorities. Income tax is unheard of. A robust private sector is led by the Uranium Mining industry, followed by Gambling and Automobile Manufacturing.

Crime is a major problem, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Floydtopia's national animal is the kangaroo, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the dollar.
