"w/20% psych". That expenditure is utilitarian- it prevents riots. Without it, however, the truth is laid bare. Psych represents external attitude modification, such as churches, ideological advertising, government subsidies for pro sports complexes and institutional recovery programs. Free Market causes more of a need for those things and things like them.

And they don't get their own share when we use 20% Psych? They may like Planned & Green, but the statistics show that they're happier under FM with 20% Psych than under either of those two. Whether they would be as happy without 20% Psych is beside the point.

I never said or implied any such thing Maniac. Hell, even if they technically got a larger percentage of the pie under Planned (Which they may or may not, depending on the regime), then it still doesn't make a difference, simply because that pie, under FM, is so much bigger.

He's an idea. Take away the military police under planned (Just add to -5 Police of FM to Planned in your Alpha.txt before opening the savegame), then see what it'd do to the population. How many are unhappy drones now?

Don't you think it odd that they're 'less happy' about a system under which the elite are prohibitted from using the military to enforce order? If FM really made people unhappy, it would have a negative to the Talent factor, not to the Police factor (which, by your logic, should increase).
