	The Everlasting CCCP ! Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Since we have 455 post at the CCCP, it is time to found a new thread. We therefore become the first two-(t)h(r)eaded party !



This is the official thread for the Centauri Communalism Citizen's Party. Here you can discuss about ideology, social agenda for CCCP, etc...

But for a start, as the founder of the CCCP, I want to explain you what the CCCP is. We are not old stalinists who took the spaceship to Centauri. We are not related to the Hive neither. We are just marxists. We believe in the struggle of social classes, Drones against Talents. We think that the engine of history is this struggle between social classes.
Alpha Centauri is our new chance, to apply marxism, and if we ever find a limit to Marx's wonderful theories, we'll build new theories, and the History will go on !

Our social agenda is very clear : we go for Democracy. Police State is not even an option, and Fundamentalism is stupidity. About economy, we of course favorite a Planned economy. When every worker knows what she/he has to do, things go better. We also favorite Green economy, since we know that the mistakes we have made on Earth shall not be made against Chiron. We cannot tolerate a Free Market economy for the damaged caused to Planet, and favors a Green Economy to develop our research.
We value Knowledge, since every worker, Drone or Talent, has a right to know. Nothing else is an option.
Our future society tends to be Eudaimonia, and it is actually our unique goal : make every people happy.

Our choice about the United Nation Charter is very strict : we do not allow any kind of atrocity. Human life, as Planet life, is far too important to use such nonsense and henious actions. Note also that we consider Punishment Sphere as an atrocity, since it is torture.

About boreholes, I think we must avoid to make Planet looks like a total gruyčre, we shouldnt abuse of boreholing Planet. Moreover, as I said in the Centralis borehole thread, it can raise temperature and changes moisty land to arid land, depriving us of nutrients.

True, but that doesn't apply to forest squares, which will produce 3 nuts to bases with a TF and HF, regardless. While I would prefer to keep boreholes within base radii to a minimum, forests could be planted in the "dried out" squares and more dedicated farmland (if necessary) could be developed elsewhere in the base radius.

Raise a land bridge? That can be interesting, but I prefer another approach...

Get a large fleet (with plenty of SAM and AA ships to neutralize air threats) and a whole bunch of sea formers... see where this is going? ... move the stack of formers next to a hive coastal base and lower the elevation, under the escort of the military fleet. If the target base is small, it just disappears when submerged (unless Yang actually builds a pressure dome there); if the base is over a certain threshold it loses half it's population and gets a pressure dome... ripe for taking by the fleet Rinse, Gloat, Repeat.

I intend to send us a *VERY* upper way - we'll use Fusion Needlejets to vaporize Yang's airforce, then obliterate his ground forces. Our ground troops would be relegated to occupying empty bases.

It also stops movement, so that even a rover has to be next to a base to attack (unless it's elite) and so is vulnerable to attack
