	My ISP is back - please fill me in on what I missed Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

My ISP has been absolutely atrocious since last Friday. This is the first time I've actually been able to come into this forum and read everything since then (as even though my ISP was up Monday and Tuesday, pages took over 3-4 minutes to load and I couldn't get into this private forum - it always timed out on me).

I'd really appreciate an update.

As for Madrid, anything I should know... I'd like to work on an extensive new plan for Madrid, but I've been out on key strategic discussion over the past several days and I need to know if there's any of that which should greatly impact my thinking

I recall that perhaps City #2 needed an additional spearmen provided by Madrid and then Madrid would need to bulid a second spearman for itself after that, but I wasn't around for much after that was suggested.

We located two goodie huts and popped one just this last turn and got Mysticism. The second goodie hut may wait until Barcelona is built. The settler that Madrid recently completed is destined for the spice coast to build Barcelona. Madrid currently is working on a spearman.

We're relativly sure that GS and Vox are on the same continent and facing off with each other. GS has been searching for new friends trading start mini-maps with us and Legoland, and possibly others. GS are tentatively talking with us about some sort of agreement but it's likely that nothing will come of it yet. We'll have to wait until mapmaking.

GS, Lux and ND have been quiet, although I recall Ghengis telling Trip in a chat that GoW wasn't happy about where Lux put their new city.

ND scouted out our northern territories and stayed away from our interior and our south. We have a warrior now scouting out the border of ND's territory.

GoW just arrived at the western end of Cow Valley. We're asking them politely not to go any further.

ND offered us Iron Working, but we had nothing to offer. They took the offer off the table and it's hung up in negotiations right now.

Lux allegedly has Iron Working and is thinking about doing the offer we originally made with them (IW for Alph + 25g). They are also thinking about the "alliance" treaty we sent them that's very fluffy and friendly, but has very little teeth and is more of a defensive alliance than anything else. It's not exactly what Lux wanted, but precisely what we wanted. We'll see if they turn us down. If so, it'll just give us more leverage against them in the future.
