- President Alex N. M. declared a few minutes ago that he supports the idea of a region-wide Fusion Research Initiative as originally proposed by Noosland earlier today. "Our nation and all the Apolyton region will greatly benefit from such valuable research effort, which will undoubtly boost our scientific community and will open new ways for the development of our common goals".
Dr. Ferd Lambast, one of the most prominent scientists in Tupan and well-known for his bad manners, mumbled something like "yeah, it is nice" when asked about the initiative.

The People's republic of Dark Valley agrees, and proposes the formation of an official body, the Apolyton Fusion Reseach Initiative. All AFRI member nations will have to agree to the following terms:

-Since this is such an important issue, I think that every signatory should agree to pledge at least 1% of anual GDP to the issue.
-All new technologies aquired by the initiative should NOT be exported to other countries by individual memeber nations. This should prevent other nations on benefiting from the techs, but not paying the price.
-Severe measures would be imposed on any signatory which doesn't obey the rules above.

Since I am not the only signatory I think that either:

a) elections to the position of chairman of the organization and he should accept such demands.
b) a majoritarian vote held on the issue.

the Kingdom of Alecrast is accepted to the AFRI with an exemption from financial participation for a limited period of time. I must warn that if Alecrast fails to start payments when it would be required to do so, it would be excluded from the organization. All of us have a heavy financial burden to carry, because of the security situation.

The People's Republic would gladly join this project. Nuclear fusion is a very clean and efficient way to make electrical power and I pledge my support to make to world a cleaner place. We have 100's of nuclear scientists ready to healp in the research. Our population is already nearly too large for geothermal power and are looking for other clean energy sorces.
