We will trade our Iron Working for their Horseback Riding in a couple of turns.

Then, we can get Writing from RP.

If we're clever, we ask GoW to research Maths after they complete Horseback Riding. We can promise them Writing for it. Both techs have the same standard cost.

Also, we need them in the long run (for trade). I have a feeling that RP should not be talking to them too much.

Ambassador PJ, can you contact GoW and ask for:

a) a tech plan?
b) (their) maths for (our) writing (in more than 15 turns)?

I offered them Iron Working this turn, just to let them know we have it, and we may possibly do the same thing we did with Vox... the worst thing that can happen now is ND or Roleplay (who both have the tech) trading IW to them, leaving us out in the cold.

Keep them close! Contact them frequently. If we do this more often than RP, they'll think that we are more suitable to trade with.

From my talks with Ghengis Farb, he's said that a deal that GoW tried to make with RP fell through (Horseback Riding for Writing). GF has been giving me the impression that he's rather irate with RP, and has been talking much with me about how they've betrayed or antagonized them, and how we and ND should try to team up to slow them down.

This will definitely slow down discussions between them, but it's not a full trading prohibition. It helps us out trade-wise at least though.

Us and ND teaming up.. honestly..We may have to consider this, if things with RP turn sour.. Which it looks like they might. We MUST NOT let our guard down when time for RP alliance to (potentially) expire draws near.
