Game no longer works Got spare money?

after a reinstall of windows for some reason () the game has ceased to run. yes, i reinstalled the game. the CD just whirrs around for a bit then stops. nothing happens. it's quite annoying, especially since i can't open the save for the ACDG

does anyone know what i can do?

Try adding the following line to your "alphacentauri.ini" file:

ForceOldVoxelAlgorithm=1

I don't know if that will help, though.

hmmm oddly enough, it seems to be working just like normal now, even without forceoldvoxel...which is really weird. i was just about to reinstall it, but i guess a boot was all i needed. thanks anyway alex
