Hmm, you should find out how long.......I allow the pop-ups through, but their life-expectancy is very short indeed. I suspect it is the same for others.

Good question, DrSpike. I think a lot of users would let the popup time out if they knew how long it took.

A related question: I surf Apolyton at work (shhhh!), with images disabled (so as not to be too obvious). Does this failure to download the images cancel the revenue from the popups (as I think I once read)?

I dont kill the pop-ups, there's not so many that I feel abused. What always makes me wonder though is why any advertisers actually pay for these things. I never look at them, they're always for some bullshit site or product. I could understand game or computer advertising, but that weird cartoon one with sheep or cows that flashes (I dont even know what its trying to sell I hit alt-F4 so fast when I see it).
