I meant to ask this earlier but forgot.

We have a warrior right next to Roleplay's capitol that THEY NO NOTHING ABOUT.

I move it one square south and it immediately shows up on a mountain next to their capitol's culture border.

Do I do it or not?

(I want to do it. )

This would certainly get their "panties in a bunch". They've already made it clear they won't trade us Writing so I don't have any problem "prodding" them a little.

The way their mind set is.... I feel they may attack it.
Its on a hill? So it might survive a single warrior attack.

Do we want to risk a war now and/or losing a warrior.

I say....
Do it.....

If they get agro, Blame the move donegeal....he has a proven mental history (refering to ND) and that we will move our warrior back the next turn

If they get irrate (can they get more irrate?) we can simply say we were not aware their teritory was there.

It does not look like they could even attack us.

Is that wheat tile roaded anywhere ? It looks like it not joined up.

If so, we could move directly south and still be safe.
But I feel we will not see too much from that position.
The mountain is probably better.

From my glimpse at Trip's map we don't have any Iron available to us unless we annex ND.

We really don't need it until Feudalism/Chivalry though.

Horsemen can be our offense for now.

I'll post an updated map and city site recommendations tomorrow morning.

I hate to say this, but I think our brightest future lies with making ourselves the more valuable and DEPENDABLE ally to Lux over RP.

Thus convincing Lux to assist us versus Roleplay. I believe once RP's territory and resources are known it won't take much to convince Lux to stand on our side.

I was thinking of...
Assisting ND against Lux.

ND just has to take their horse resource, and hold their position. We can ride in behind and take their defenseless cities.

Does Lux have iron ? We could take it by force as well.
We need to scout them before any aliances can be decided upon.

Do it. As for war, with the few troops we have to fight, we're better off with horsemen than swordsmen to reach to front faster, AND they upgrade to riders.

Riders need Iron too, but we don't have to HAVE an Iron resource until Feudalism and Chivalry.

By then we will hopefully have take ND or Lux's or found another one of our own.

I think its available to us whenever we really want it.

With all of our hills, I was just hoping we would score some for free.

Hopefully we can do the jpg swap with RP before we get iron working so it wont show up in our map anywhere.
