What causes cities to revolt? Today I was playing perhaps my best game so far of CTP--I was ahead of all other societies, I had well established lucrative trade routes, a moderate sized but efficient army, well-developed cities etc.....--and at the end of one of my turns all but one of my cities revolted and formed a Barbarian society.
I really don't understand why this happend. Prior to this I had very few riots--maybe one or two--and I was not at war with anyone else.
If anyone can give me a clue as to why this might have happened and how to prevent it in the future I would really appreciate it.
I'm new to CTP and I love it. For $10 it's the best gaming fun I've ever had.

First off i admit i havent played ctp for ages.
Its a v.good game, i just found the AI weak.
As for happiness, there was a wonder that eliminated unhappiness due to overcrowding (virtual world i think).
Its grossly overpowered, build it and happiness wont be a problem
