I saw this in the paper this morning. It was the funniest thing I have read in quite a while. One part of the company spent decades building up a brand based on the fact that these are repressed humans, and another part argues in court that they are nothing but monsters, so that they can save a few bucks on tariffs.
The ruling is important because the company will now get a refund for all of the extra tarrifs it paid. This is not the first time this kind of thing has happened, there was a court battle a while ago on GI Joe figures with the same arguments, with the company trying to get out of the doll tarriff.
I think the whole thing is hilarious, but then I usually react that way to absurdity.
