Well folks it's that time of year again; time for the annual show down between North America's two finest football teams (and I mean the real football not the other one that has little pansies running around in shorts ). This year the Super Bowl is being held in San Diego and both the NFL & the city's major have promised a party unlike any other in the history of American football.

For three days prior to the game there's going to be a street fair with free music, lots of public drinking, and loads of cute girls. Who's all going to be there?

I live in San Diego so I guess my being there has very little to do with the Super Bowl as well, but, that doesn't mean I'm not going to make the most of the situation.

The current temperature in San Diego is 62 degrees F, it's partially cloudy, with a slight off shore breeze. The forcast for Super Bowl Sunday is warm and sunny.

I was just kidding, obviously. I rather like NFL football. ( though calling it football doesn't make sense)

If they were able to make it go faster, and not stop the entire time, It would be much more fun, imo.

I sometimes get bored with all the time outs and clock stopages too. For years they've been talking about streamlining the game so as to speed things up and the T.V. networks would love it if they knew exactly how long each game would be so they could efficiently cram in as much paid for air time as possible.

Still work in that area is progressing about as fast as an Italian bureucrat who's out on strike so I doubt will see any changes soon.

Yar, matey! Curses, me job keeps me from the first ever Pirate Bowl, Raiders versus Buccaneers, yar. Instead, I shall throw a spanking Super Bowl party on me ship, the Cowardly Lion.

And any scurvy landlubber who comes to the party not dressed as a pirate (or a fetching wench) shall be forced to walk the plank! Yar!
