I personally enjoy using the italics? it somehow seems more elegant than the use of underlining to me?

I use underlines as secondary emphasis.

First comes bold, then underline, then red, then all caps!

Like I could say you have no right to force US to change our habits since you can't figure out what a link is.

The trick is to change the color of your hyperlinks to disguise them, or to hide them in punctuation marks. It works especially well in large blocks of text.
