Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great flag. Red, white, and blue, how can you hate it? It's just that when I'm waiting for a page here to load, I always see a delay when retrieving french.gif. I'm sure that others expereincing a slow down here would appreciate the removal of this one simple graphic. Besides, do we really need the French flag to remind us of the French? How can one so easily forget such a proud and glorious nation as France? Removing the flag will not only decrease server load, but will be a testament to the enduring and endearing qualities of France's integral role in all our lives. It will show that even, if the flag is not there, France's spirit will always be with us. I can think of no better honor for such an admirable nation as France, than to remove its flag from our list.
