The first item. (about unit support)

The time commitment to using this trick will be a killer. So it's time for all of us to post a simple, CHEAT, shouldn't do it.

And it does relate to the building the wonder on the same turn that you develop the tech scheme. I've been too lazy (or drunk) to use this trick in a game yet, but I'm wondering how people feel about this one. For MP games, I think it should classified as a CHEAT, shouldn't do it. I have not seen anybody use it yet.

Yes... both are blatant cheats...

As for the first... snore... turns already take too long

As for the second... at least is is an easy one to catch as long as somebody has an embassy with the person.

its either vote cheat, or play with a different group, i know this sounds like the gestapo here, but i refuse to play with the hut finder, xins cheats etc....all the turns will take forever hut finder is one thing b/c you do it on your turn....but the other...no way

I am against ANYTHING that makes your turn take longer thaq it already does. (That's why I stopped drinking during Civ games)

The hutfinder is something I only useon other's turns, and something like this would make games almost unplayable.

I was under the impression abandonware was legal, and does not occur without the consent of the company involved. Is this not the case?

In most cases "abandonware" is not with the consent of the company. The company still holds the copywrites on it, even if they have indeed stopped selling it. In only a few cases does the company actually ever give consent.
