OK - haven't played with both Human and AI players before. I'm happy to try it.
I'll send you a private message with my email address.

Ok we have six interested players, because I got an email from someone who hasn't posted here. I tend to agree with Tom Red that we should go with 4 or less. With more players the turns will take a long time. What does everyone else think?
If we go with 4 it will be Tom Red, Thrumble, j2k, and me. |
I'd be willing to allow more than 4 players but I really would advise no more than 6 at the absolute max.

I started it and took my turn. I'll be sending it to Stephen after this post. I decided to make it standard size with only 60% ocean. That will give us more room for expansion, but we can also engage each other quicker.
Here's the order;
1)DuncanK - French -
2)Stephen Lamm - Romans -
3)Thrumble - Spanish -
4)j2k - Egyptians -
5)Tom Red - Ottomans -
6)Andy Hammer - Russians -
Here are the settings;
1)Standard Size
2)Roaming Barbarians
3)Pangea
4)60% Ocean Coverage
5)Everything else default
I'm starting a thread to track turns. After you take your turn just post there as turn sent. That's so that if something happens to the turn we can find out what quickly and keep the game moving faster. I'm just going to call it DuncanK's game.
We can also label the turn files with the name of the next player, DuncanK's_Game, and the game year.
If you can't play for more than 1 day please notify us so we don't think you dropped off the face of the earth.

Hi,
Small point DuncanK - can you take our emails off the forum by editing your message - this will prevent spamming programmes picking them up and sending us loads of junk mail !! Everyone in the game should have made a note of them by now.
thanks
