No, he said "out BY Feb" not end of Feb. He even stated it "carefully" two different times...

Actually read the log. Someone asked me if I was sure that it would be out in Feb and I said yes, it was the 23rd there were many days between today (the 23rd) and the 28th of Feb.

We have dates, andI don't see any chance that those dates are going to be missed. Honestly. Am I permitted to tell you? Because of the problems with giving dates earlier, no. Is it killing me to NOT be able to say something?

Hell yes, I feel like one of those guys in the movie 'Scanners' at this point...

If there's not much chance that the date could be missed, ask them if you could at least give the date as a NON-FINAL one....it could be worded like...

"We are aiming to get it out by X but this is NOT set in stone, so it is possible that it could be missed. This is a target date NOT a release date..."

Or whatever disclaimers you need to give...and yes even with the disclaimers some people will complain if the date is missed...but most SENSIBLE people won't...And X could be a certain week, part of month, or full month, whatever...just SOMETHING more then "its done when it's done"

Heh, fat chance of this with all the constant whining and *****ing by even the 'sensible' people about the last missed date.

Sorry, if you want a date then you should have been trying to tell people to stop whining a month ago and then maybe we'd actually know more info.

Congrats to QS and IG for finally learning not to give out anything since people just can't be made happy by *anything*.

I don't think QS or IG are willing to risk putting out another date or two and then having something go wrong. Again.

Probably a good move on their part.

I've been lurking on the IG boards for the past few months and it amazes me how the natives are getting restless. If I were the developers for MOO3, I wouldn't post anything over there again until the game was on the shelves.
