I won't lie. If they want my blood, they can ask me for it honestly. Same thing goes with military service, which I forgot as caveat: unless they categorically and permanently end the ban on gay service members, I won't fight for the U.S. military.

Gangerwolf, yes, your country was invaded, but you can still encounter enemy citizens or do terror acts if you are sent as spy into enemy state.

Boris, I believe some people finds it easier to tortue than to be tortued since in the former case you feel no pain yourself, except for moral one, but that could be coped with more or less.

Since the death of Daniel Pearl, I've had to reassess my decision to follow international journalism as a career choice. So far, I'm unattached and answerable only to myself. As long as that lasts, I'm willing to do the following things:

Donate Blood
Donate/Lose Wealth
Die
Kill enemy soldiers

I'm not prepared to consent to any of the others. (Although if I consented to being raped, it would no longer be rape. So anybody who ticked the "rape" option just got themselves into a paradox.)

Alinestra, no, rape (the same as being tortued, get your family killed) means other thing. It means that if you'd know some info (state secret) and you'd be tortued/raped/your family would be killed in your eyes to tell that info, would you tell it before they does that or let them do that. That means, it would be still rape, since you don't want it, you just don't want to give up info even more...

Lawrence of Arabia, well, than I am one of those people you named "sick ****s". You see, country is more than one or two or ten children for that matter. There are thousands of children and even more other people in the country. So if for example some child happens to know info about when enemy will bomb your city (his father is some general for example), than it is better to tortue him/her (I doubt he/she would stand against tortue for much time anyway) and evacuate city timely and safe much more children who otherwise probably would be killed. Also, the same goes about situation where tortuing/killing children is needed to beat information from their parents/other relatives.

In cases named above I would agree to tortue, but obviously I would never tortue children or anyone for that matter "just because they are people of enemy".

So, this is it again:
Your country is in war with some other country and it was invaded
You are asked o do some of the things of written above (donate blood, give wealth, etc.).
Other options, like be tortued, be raped, see your family/friends killed, etc. talks about the case where you would have some secret information and enemies would use their force to beat it up.
Tortuing/killing civilians and children is also about beating information, like military plans, of certain indviduals
Oraganising terror acts means planting bombs near some factories of enemy state or other installations. This would disrupt production, but many civilians would die also. Suicide terror act is the same except that you'd have to implode yourself in that case.

What are the details of the invasion, e.g. is the enemy imposing heavy taxes on conquered territories, and/or using WOMD, and/or employing terror tactics, and/or disrupting my crystal meth production centers, etc?
