What are you willing to do in the name of your country? We are assuming that there is war going on, etc., and you are required this help. Please note that some things aren't requested help (for example "be tortued" means that you would be tortued to beat some info out of you, same goes about loosing family (that means that someone would say that they will kill your family in your eyes if you wouldn't give some secret info)). Launching mass destruction weapons means just pressing button. Tortue someone means that you yourself have to beat info from someone. With which of listed things you'd agree (this is multiple choice poll).

I would do none of the above, unless we are talking about an invasion of my country, and my country is a country I consider to be moral and free. If my moral and free country is being invaded, I would give blood, give money, and volunteer to fight. However, if the country tried to forcibly take any of these things from me, it would no longer be moral or free, so therefore I would not support it.

I don't really see a situation where you would have to kill or torture civilians "in the name of your country".

A terror act - does that include military targets, or just civilian ones?

Since, terror acts are target at civilians, it doesn't include military targets.

Terror acts would most likely be aimed to disrupt something - like some factory production or to kill some person (by bombing his car in public for example). However, in all cases many civilians would die too.

You could have to tortue civilians if they for example gets from somewhere some info you need, etc. Also, you could do this to demoralize enemy civilians. To kill them you'd need if for example they works in a place you want to disrupt, or if you are beating information out of his/her relative. Same goes with children.

Assuming it was a war in which our cause was just, I would certainly fight in defense of the country, give as much of my "wealth" as I could spare, and probably endure torture to keep a secret if it were valuable.

I would only flee the country if the war were unjust on our part and the regime had taken dictatorial control and was making life miserable. And provided I could not do any good remaining here.

I was assuming my country got invaded. I wouldn't encounter any enemy civilians (unless the enemy brought their families with them??)
