	Message board troubles... Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations: Deluxe Edition

How do you register for the Nationstates forum? I can't post anything at all and I can't figure out how to register. And it makes me feel stupid. Help would be much appreciated... if I can register, I can actually RP!

Having a nation and being logged in with said nation already registers you as a member, your member name being the name of your nation. In other words, you already have registered.

You most probably need to tell them your email address too. Otherwise it doesn't seem to work properly.

Related problem (somewhat)...

I've tried to join the U.N. 5 times now and while it sends me the telegram informing me that I'm "in", I never get the e-mail to confirm my entry

The e-mail I gave them (because I didn't care if they spammed it) was an AOL e-mail and I find it very very hard to believe that AOL is blocking ANYTHING as spam

Do you suppose that nationstates just isn't sending the e-mail out?

I have some other e-mails, but I'm SURE those would likely block this as spam if that's a problem. Any suggestions on forming a temporary e-mail account I can use for the confirmation?

I still can't get it to work. I can log in as my nation perfectly well, I have given them my email, and all that... hmm...

I think it's a site realted problem as I have the same troubles...

Hm, then it might be indeed a site related problem, if you are registered, logged in, and have provided your email address...

Don't know about the UN mishap though, maybe post on the NS forums about it? Could be a common bug or something.
