"The slider that I did check. We can move to 80% for a -1 loss (I think) and research in 20 turns. 19 next turn of course.

edit: I have exact figures. as of last turn

70% (which we are at) 0 per turn gold, and 26 turns
80% -1 gold per turn, 20 turns
90% -2 gold per turn 16 turns
100% same as 90%"

The three realsitic options are fairly clear.

I vote for 2, 80% and a 1 gold per turn loss. Depending on the Alphabet trade, and how much gold we have, we maybe can crank it up to 90% at later date.

Umm, this might sound like a silly question, but how much gold do we have in our coffers? If I know how much money we currently have on hand, I can vote in this poll....but without knowing how much we have (and will lose per turn) I can't vote.

The last screen shot (2270bc) showed us with 74 gold in the treasury. The per turn losses for option two is one gold per turn, and for option three, two gold per turn.

yes and the thread of everything is updated. Well 2 turns ago

but we still have 74 gold since we aren't gaining any.

Beta suggesting upping the research so I did. It is at 90% right now. We can fine tune this as needed. It is less than 16 turns to mysticism now.

So far this is a definitive poll.

I like the 90% just as well though. Really impacts on the research rate and maybe then Lux won't see us as that weak a trading partner.
