In late October, I had an incident in school where I punched some lockers and walked out the school in frustration over something that dont need to get mentioned here.

because of this, the school and this one administrator made me go to a therapist who then got another psychiatrist to prescribe 10MG of Celexa for me... Though I'm fervantly against drugs, I decided I'd just make the school happy and take them...

I have now been rejected from the Army ROTC scholarship program for taking Celexa... My mom will kick me out the day after graduation and the ROTC was my only way of getting into college...

What the hell can I do?

You could still just enlist in the military, and they'd end up paying for your college anyway, if that's really what you want.

Secondly, they might also have a problem with the Celexa usage.

I'm not really sure what Celexa is, but I'm fairly certain they'd let you in if you just enlisted.

And I DO find it kinda ironic they give illegal drugs to their pilots, but reject someone for taking legally prescribed drugs

No but it would have been easier to be a reservist lieutenant... i would get a real good scholarship plus a nice stipend and i would be able to proudly say i was a officer in this country's army. damn... why can't i just have one thing happen to me easily?! why do everything got to be so hard?

Nah, officers are girls. I don't want to get any promotions, I'm perfectly happy being sgt, and if I ever become and officer, I just might have to do something stupid to get my position back.

Well what's your point? You want to serve your country, but only if it suits you? You want to go to college? Pick one and then go for it.

If you need the army to pay for your college, then why insist getting to be officer? WHy not just go for the simplest route possible? I'm almost 100% sure they will let you enlist, what's the problem? If it is too hard and not glamorous enough, there are always many people who will do it and then they deserve it.

Well Celexa is just an antidepressant, not too different to what I am on at the moment. It is a shame that some careers consider that to be a problem because I don't...it makes me a more balanced person and able to rationalise my situation much more easily without the risk of anxiety attacks.
