	Intersite DG - Map size? Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations: Deluxe Edition

What size of map do you want for the intersite demo game? Assume there are 6 human teams, and no AI civs. If this changes (but I doubt it will) we will need to re-poll.

For reference:
Standard: 100 x 100
Large: 130 x 130
Huge: 160 x 160
(unless this changed in PTW, which should arrive at my mailbox in only a few days, btw )

Nothing smaller than Large, Huge is preferable and 256X256 would be the best.

Standard is reasonable for 6 teams. I have played several 8 civ spPtW on huge maps and typically don't run into anyone soon enough to have a warrior or archer rush. This type of setting would be devistating to fast start civs such as Aztecs.

Of course since there are 24 civs to choose from, I am sure that if we had such a world that all the teams would shun the fast starters.

Actually, I think there should have been a small option if there's only going to be a total (human + AI) of 6 teams.

Anything larger than standard with only 6 civs is just ridicious due to how much the UUs and Traights value will be distorted compared to games with the max # of starting civs for the map size.

we want to vote on the map size in real terms , like Y X Y , not this huge stuff , "huge" for most people means 256 X 256 , ....

This is a good point as "huge" and other verbal terms sometimes refers to different sized maps.

I acknowledge the absence of the 'small' and 'tiny' options. It is fairly clear, however, that standard would still be the winner.
