what do you want to know

you have to travel the ball 10 yards to get a 1st down

you have 4 downs to move the ball, if you don't get a 1st down than it turns over

most kick the ball on 4th

if you get talked or hit the ground than you are down

the ball cannot touch the ground (For the most part)

the ball can be passed or carried

there are three basic ways to score

touchdowns, safeties, and fieldgoals

touchdowns are the ball carried across the line or caught across the line in the endzone

safeties are where the offensive QB gets tackled in his own endzone

fieldgoals are where the kicker kicks the ball (one of the few times the ball is kicked in football)
