	Does anyone buy playgirl magazine? Support Apolyton, buy GURPS/ Alpha Centauri

I always see it sitting on the shelves of 7-11 convenience stores and other convenience stores, but I have never seen a woman buy one. Or for that matter I never see men buy playboy magazine as well. I know they have to sell, or they wouldn't have them.

Who buys these things? I suspect that only gay men buy play girl magazine, I don't think women do. If women wanted to see that stuff she could just go up to a guy and ask him. He'd show his stuff. No I think only gay men buy that magazine. They should call it playgayguy.

And maybe the reason why you don't see people actually buy it is because most people are embarassed about buying it... and wait until nobody else is around to see them buy it

There's plenty of porn material in various forms of media that is truly gay-oriented, so we don't have to rely on Playgirl, even if some gays do buy it.

You can just let your girlfriends, fiances, and wives have the magazine all to themselves as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, I read it once or twice. It wasn't all that good.

Then again, Playboy is pretty tame as well. In fact, all of the American publications have nothing on the Europeans or the Japanese.

(Japan - a society where a painting that shows the nape of the neck is considered "erotic", but which shows depictions of people engaged in coprophilia, bestiality, and sadomasochism in the margins of clothing catalogues.)

Dissident's got a point. I'll often put on a raincoat and clown wig, and then I'll go to the local convenience store and huddle by the magazine rack's "erotic" section. Every time a woman walks into the store I'll stare at her and start humming tunelessly to myself while I slowly rock back and forth. I've been doing this for years, and I've yet to see a single woman buy an issue of Playgirl. It can't be a very popular magazine...
