Hmmm. Apparently Apolyton cuts the connection soon after it's established. AFAIK, it makes some kind of "sanity check" soon after connection and checks your computer for identd, proxies and socks (port 1080). Perhaps this fails. I don't know.

Have you tried the java client yet?

I'm trying... I d/l the thing, installed it, but now I get a msg saying something about an SecurityException, that the class ident's signer information doesn't match the rest of the package.

Are you sure you filled all forms in the setup? especially where it asks for your email? just type "deepo" there. This field can't be left empty. Look for it.
