Hello Marky warky! I've tried to contact you via e-mail but those concerns must have been lost in the confusion? Anyway - I'd just like to know how long I'm banned from chat for!

IIIIIIRC - I was banned specifically not for misbehaving, but for something I did IRL that I was telling another user about in shame (stealing a pack of cigarettes I don't need for a small thrill while intoxicated). Interesting that you now ban people based on actions that have nothing to do with this site - even moreso when they express through regret that they might have problems because of those actions!

I'll cut to the chase, I love chat - and I think it can keep me away from the forums. Since you'd probably rather me not spoiling the OT with my brand of raggamuffinry, would it not be a victory all around to explain your side of this tale?

You might try getting on their good side. I notice that the mods often ban someone after repeated things they have done. Also I think they banned you because of what you were talking about, not because of your actions outside of Apolyton.

It's not as big a deal as you're all trying to make it (I note those who have posted in such a manner have been dealt quite an impression of myself in person - I love you guys!!!)

...and as you all know, I've had nothing but praise for Ming - and we get along as fine as I do with anyone else. He bans me according to the book, but ol' Marky bebe' seems to harbour a personal vendetta as of late!

Tell me though, you cute little people who cry for my head: What yet have I done wrong in this thread? As calmly explained, e-mails seem to bounce off of the busy Markos much like a roaming oxygen atom off the side of a Mauser tank.

Such is life, I assume?

Try pm Mark, he reads all of them. His email is most likely filled with hunders of emails. Every time I need to talk to him I pmed him and he got the message and responded.

IRC bans aren't anything special. You haven't been banned from the forums, just from a specific IRC channel (#apolyton). And it was done for quite good reasons, IMO. Calling people s_itbags isn't exactly mature, Zylka.

Yes, your mask (the one you have when you access at home, using your cable modem connection) is apparently banned, but I refered to your behavior on the #apolyton channel yesterday (that's the "s_itbag nonsense"). So in the light of it, I wouldn't wonder if Markos would have banned you.
