We all know that Iraq is going to come under fire, that's a done deal.
We know that Bush would like a democratic state set up in Iran. Count that as a done deal.
Looking ahead, to stuff that matters that need to be considered, and some of it revolves around North Korea.
North Korea, in and of itself, is a no-sweat situation.
But then there's who has worried me the most all my life. China.
And related to this also, Japan.
I'm read newspaper articles (regular city papers, not some of your Chicken Little editions) calling for the U.S. to supply Japan with nukes, so as to hold off the howling hoardes of Chinese.
Like I said, China has always worried me, but do we really want to consider giving Japan nukes?
Sure, decades have passed since Pearl Harbor, but still...
Look ahead.
As Boddington's would say, "Discuss, please".

If the Japanese really wanted nukes, they could build their own. Perhaps the fact they have not has something to do with being the only people who have ever been on the receiving end?

I thought it was a saying among neo-cons. "Everybody wants to go to Baghdad. Real men want to go to Teheran.

Sloww, I agree with you there.. though I do not think NK is no-sweater..
Also Iran might be a problem.. I mean they KNOW they're next in line. They must have lots of plans and evil stuff in their pretty little heads now.
If I were in power, I'd attack Iraq NOW, and Iran too. Iran attack would be based on secret plans, and it would be total surprise attack. Kill the leaders and fundamentalist groups. No one left alive, if someone wants to protest and shout Jihad... fine.. have a bullet too. Pound them into total submission. There will be riots and things heating in Saudi Arabia, rebels would rise up and kick the royal family away, so right about then, attack Saudi Arabia. Then cool things down a bit, but get things ready for full attack on NK. Ask them to give up, and if they don't, full attack right away. After that Syria, and other rogue countries.

I'd expect lots of happenings in Pakistan at time of my surprise attacks, so we should be able to pound Pakistan into submission also, they being nuclear nation.
These countries know that the US is going one by one, and they are not waiting for it, they only appear to wait for it and play mr nice guy. They can't be doing it however, they're planning right now as we speak, they KNOW it's going to happen. So we need to take them all out, back of the sauna, together right now. It's the best chance. THey're plaing dumb, lets not fall for that one.
EU is going to ***** about it, but Russia is one of the keys to this, they need to back it up too. Promise them lots of good, deals etc.

MtG, you illustrate my point to perfection.
By the time you, and others, start "being interested", THAT will be a done deal, too.
And Trajan, you can keep making barbs at me, all you want; but you're wasting time.
You think I'm such a war-damned-monger, and here I am, trying to people to get interested, now.
You act like I'm the only one who has ever had anxieties over China.
I have a News Flash for you, I'm not all that much a paranoid.
You can count it as fact that if I've been anxious, others that make decisions, have had moments of anxiety.
That's cool. Just keep thinking I'm foaming at the mouth.
That will be your mistake, not mine.
