Libyans?? Since when do Libyans have the monopoly on the word "Africans"? And "South Africans" does not hog the name either.

But "Americans"? Or even "North Americans" is wrong since "United States" does not mention North America specifically like South Africa.

Well I found something that shock me...
I search in online web translators, spanish-english dictionaries and encyclopedias and I found that the spanish word "Oceanía" in english is "The Australian Continent" So you're right and I'm right. The 'Anglo people' can say that besides "America" there is another country that have the same name of his own continent, but for the 'Latin people' Australia, as a continent, doesn't exist.

Well, tecnically, the "island" of Austrialia is considered in geographical terms a continent, so its a natural monopoly since it is the only country in it. (if you look at all atlases or encyclopedias, it will say the largest island is Greenland. Australia is the smallest continent).

Oceania of course refers to the Pacific Islands as well.

I say Yes. Let them be a Civ in the game. The only thing that I disaprove is that some Civs tha have been around much longer than USA are forgotten. My contry for instance, Bulgaria. We are older than England and France. We have our own language, alphabet ( it is one of the mostl widely used ) we have been on our land for more than 1300.

OK I know that we are poor and there are not many people in Bulgaria that will buy the game, but I do not think anyone from Persia or Ottoman Empire will buy the game either. There are things other than money that also matter when making a game.

They should really make an option to add new Civs. I loved Civ2 because I could play with Bulgarians. I would love to edit my own Bulgarian Civ ( pick 2 abilities and edit e special unit that will replace any other unit of the game ). I think this way Civ3 will be much more atractive for many other players.

OK I know that this might sound bad, but talking about USA in this game I think it is time to mention something else. The Apolo Program. In Civ 2 the Apolo Program was the beginning of the space race. Well the first space program was not the amrican Apolo Program, but the Russian Program. Russians were the first to launch a satelite ( Sputnik ) and they were the first to send a man in orbit. I think the wonder has to be renamed from Apolo Program to Sputnik or Gagarin.

Maybe we could get both of them. The Sputnik Program to start the space race and the Apollo Program to finish it with the launch of the space ship. We could rename the Apollo Prgrm. to 'Mission to Mars' or 'Mission de Alfa Centauri' to be more accurate.
