I can't airlift workers? Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

Huh?

That's too bad. In Civ II, airports are how I migrated great herds of engineers from continent to continent. Beats having to build new ones, y'know?

I can't find any mention in the Civilopedia about not being able to airlift workers. So exactly what ground units can and can't be airlifted? More importantly, why?

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Open the editor and check edit rules. Then look at the rules pages to see what can and can't be airlifted. If you want you can change what is allowed to be airlifted.

Not sure. It is wierd that they didn't allow them to be airlifted. I don't think you can airlift bombarding units, settlers, or armies either. It is probably because they don't want people airlifting all their key units out of their cities when they are surronded.

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

Sheik is correct. Workers, Settlers, Armies, and any type of artillery unit cannot be AirLifted using the default rules.

You can change this in the editor. Make your own Mod. I did. Now I can airlift all units to 'my new continent'.
